The national fund raising effort in the week 8th -15th May 1943 was well supported by Eydon children
This photograph was taken in the garden of 20 High Street. Miss Marchant, a teacher who came to Eydon during the war years to help teach the influx of evacuees,was a lodger here. From the left we can see Roy Steel, Doreen Bull (behind), Pam Humphrey (nee Roberts), Delores O'Loughlin with Betty Steel behind her, Jim Williams?, unknown, and Pam Mold. The other four boys are unknown.
