Thomas Pettifer started making animal medicines in Eydon after he arrived in 1835 and started business, initially as a farrier and sheep dipper. Their manufacture continued in the village until the 1960s.
Writing on front lists, from left: Mallcodic Reg No 355246; Cod Liver Oil Condiment; Horse and Cattle Spice; Pig Food; Special Poultry Spice and Calf Meal. Some of these can be seen through the glass at the top.
