This might be Alfred James Gubbins (1868-1942) who lived in Eydon all his life after his marriage to Louisa née Abbott of Eydon.
However, doubts have been raised by a descendant about his age when pictured by comparison with others in photos in the archive. If not Alfred, then it might be one of the Abbott brothers who were related by marriage to the Gubbins. But where the Abbott’s baker’s shop was we do not know at present, so if anyone knows please tell us. See also KL284, KL288 & KL288a.
