A more low key event in this photo, the tea stall at a fete in the garden of Manor Farmhouse.

For many years, up to the end of the 20th century, the village fetes in Eydon alternated, one for the church and the next year for the village hall. Eventually someone pointed out that the same people were involved in both, so they have now amalgamated and split the profits each year.

As this was a smaller event at Manor Farm, this may have a village hall fete. The bunting is up, the flags are flying, but from the cardigans worn it is not a warm day! It looks to be taken in the 1950s or early 60s.
