This shows the Rev. Lewis and his family in their garden at Mountsorrel in Leicestershire.
He come to Eydon shortly afterwards and was here from 1918 - 1920 but his health suffered badly following the loss of the two sons seen in the picture. They were both killed in the Great War and there is a memorial tablet to them in the Chancel of St. Nicholas Church, Eydon.
