This is a record shot by Dr Kevin Lodge, as plans to renovate this part of the building were being drawn up at the time of photographing. 
 
The photo shows the back of the derelict cottage (4 School Lane) [KL115] where it abuts the wing on the right that belongs to 6 School Lane. It shows where the back has been altered several times, and the door which has been inserted into the corner at a strange angle to allow a staircase to be squeezed in to the left of it.
