Cross Tree Cotttages on The Green
Postcard, pre 1914, sent to Miss Lizzie Walker (see reverse side on KL273a) - later Mrs Jack Gubbins. It shows The Green, with all the cottages thatched. Note the size of the elm trees.
Children in the road in front of the cottages are shown in KL273b. If theses are Alf and Louisa Gubbins' children then the photo might have been taken in late 1895 - or possibly 8-10 years later.
