Enlargement of circular vignette from 1920s composite postcard of Eydon, showing the post office, then at the south end of the High Street (now 7 High Street).

The post office had a bay window to the north of the entrance door. The post box was built into the wall and its position can still be seen in the wall.

Next door, now 5 High Street, then had its entrance door opening directly onto the street.
