The Royal Oak is in the background, there are lots of people sitting against wall, with a younger looking group of 10 looking at the camera. This may have been taken on Whit Monday, when the Foresters had their Feast, with a parade, a service at the church and a meal at the pub, followed by games in the fields next to the pub.
