Moving east down Blacksmiths Lane we see the nearly completed new house, Marden House, built in 1964
The house is in modern style, but with stone end walls. Behind that, through the gap where the old forge was, we see the new gable end to Rose Cottge, with the other houses in Blacksmiths Lane to the right.
