Naive Sketch of Eydon Church, seen from the south1840s
It has been damaged by water at some stage in its life. It shows the tower ivy covered along with the south aisle that was knocked down in the restoration of 1865. It does not show the 1717 chest tomb just to the east of the south door, but that may be artistic licence as it would be also most out of the foot of the picture anyway. It clearly shows the tracery in the now lost southern windows.
