Coronation year Eydon's May Queen and her Retinue on the Green, 1953 
The trailer is decorated with wild flowers. These, and the children's posies, had been gathered from the hedgerows two or three days before and kept fresh in zinc baths filled with water. Mr Syers made the crowns.
