Studio Portrait of Maude Tyrrell with large hat and striped suit.

She is wearing gloves and in her right hand she holds a book on a pedestal. Maude Tyrrell, youngest daughter of Flora & Joe Tyrrell, was born in the Mullions (KL040) in 1892. She became an 'uncertificated' teacher at the school. She subsequently married local builder and fellow chapel goer Fred Kench (KL091) and lived in Eydon all her life. Maude looks to be in her early 20s, and the fashion looks pre-First World War, so this may be a coming of age photo, about 1913.
