Scratch or mass dial on south wall of chancel of St Nicholas Church, Eydon.

It consists of 3 or 4 holes with lines all radiating from one point towards the bottom of the image. The has been reused as a building stone and inverted. Originally the gnomon would have been inserted into a hole in the mortar joint. In that case the engraved lines would mark 9, 10, 11 and 12 o'clock in the morning, suggesting the original site of this stone faced more easterly.
