Possible, very primitive, scratch dial on west face of tower of St Nicholas Church, Eydon.
This is to the left of the rather more elaborate dial shown in AP022. It consists of a clearly scratched roughly horizontal line, along with a gnomon hole that might just be natural feature of the stone. If it was a dial and originally faced south, it would mark both 6 o'clock in the morning and in the evening, coincidentally the times when an Angelus bell would have been rung.
