An oil painting by Frederick Fitzgerald R.A. in the early 1900s who generally was known for painting seascapes and rocky coastlines often in Norway.

When he came to visit or to live in Eydon he painted several farmyard scenes of which this is one. It is a view taken of the side and rear of Manor Farmhouse at 5 The Green viewed from the paddock behind the house. The large elm trees on the Green tower above and behind the various small outbuildings which have since been largely demolished. The Fitzgerald family was linked through marriage to both the Page and Stennett families who lived at 29 High Street.
