Another photo of a fete opening, this time next door to Eydon Hall in the garden of Manor Farm, home to Eddie Wilks.
These were smaller, lower key events, with usually only a top table of three members, in this case Eric Walker, Lord Brand and Eddie Wilks. These speeches must have gone on for a while and rows of seats were provided for the audience. Lord Brand must be in his stride, as his two top table companions are staring fixedly at the ground.
