Lower down School Lane 
This enlarged extract from DK083 shows workmen repairing the garden fence at the front of 2 School Lane, the Reading Room in the early 1900s and on the opposite side of the road a number of milk churns are waiting to be collected outside the lower gate to Rectory Farm.  Owing to the quality of reproduction of the postcard the workmen cannot be identified.
