Sitting on the front garden wall at “Wayside” 7 Preston Road, Eydon the home of Fred, Maude & Donald Kench in the late 1930s.

Standing left to right, Fred Kench the partner in Thomas Kench the builders, Ethel Marshall the wife of Fred Kench’s cousin who was on holiday from their home in Kilmarnock, Alice Mary Kench, known to all as Mary from 20 High Street Eydon, and Maude Louisa Kench née Tyrrell. Kneeling on left Fred & Maud’s son Donald Frederick and on right Will Marshall the cousin of Fred Kench.
