Wedding group outside St Nicholas' Church after the wedding of Kathleen Edwards and Bill Allen in March 1948.
Kathleen was youngest daughter of Lucy (extreme left) and Sid Edwards (half hidden behind the bride's grandmother to the right of the bride). The small bridesmaid was Shirley Edwards, daughter of Kenneth Edwards, the bride's only brother Bill had come to the village during the war working at the radio system on Borough Hill in Daventry.
