Eydon celebrated the Coronation of King George IV on 12th May 1937 with an obligatory decoration of the village and a fancy dress parade.

Here we see 10 year old Kath Edwards as the Rose Queen with bicycle decorated by white crepe paper and paper roses. It seems to have been taken on the top of Hill View. Photographer: Unknown, Edwards family
