From the lack of flowers on the rambling roses, tis might be a sunny day in early spring, hence the warm (and smart) coats. Susan Allen was born here in 1950, when her sister Carolyne (Carrie) was born the family were living in Hardingstone, near Northampton where Bill was working in the Foreign Office, perhaps at Hanslop Park.
