Group of Ladies at 20 High Street, 1960s
The ladies are in winter clothes in the garden at rear of 20 High Street (c1960s) Rear: Margaret Walker, Annie Tyrrell, Hope Walker, Ethel Edwards, Ella Austin Front: Win Buckley, Leah Cleaver, Mary Kench & Ethel Barford. As this is a mixture of Chapel regulars and Church Ladies, is was thought to be a meeting of the W.I.. The known Chapel goers were Mrs Buckley, Mrs Tyrrell, Mrs Cleaver and Miss Kench.
