Fred Kench as a Boy Scout, looking younger that he did in the other scout photos from coast watching at Gedney Point [DK017] so maybe taken around 1913.

Holding patrol flag and two white bars on breast pocket to show he is a patrol leader. Masses of cords around his neck! Taken in the garden of his home at 31 High Street. In the background we can see the dormer window and the differing roof levels of the cottages in the Moravian Chapel Yard.
