In front of them stand their grandchildren Charles Alfred John Gubbins (1920-1978) and his older sister Elizabeth Frances Abbott Gubbins (1915- 2001). The little boy in front of them is possibly their cousin Roy, son of John Arthur Gubbins and his wife Sarah. The photo may have been taken in the garden of their cottage facing the Green in Eydon.
