On another trip a year later than that of the ladies shown in AP049, the men of Eydon stand by the River Wye at Symonds Yat in Herefordshire, June 27th 1948.
The men are very dapper, wearing suits (some even with waistcoats) and ties even in early summer. As a concession to the holiday mood, light coloured caps seem to be acceptable wear, but not for the photograph as the two men at the front are holding theirs. The man on the right holding his cap is George Isham, whilst behind him on the far right is Leonard Golby.
