What is now 32 High Street (Badgers Burrow), once the home of the Walker family.
The two children outside the gates are Eric, born 1904, and his sister Winifred, born 1907 (see IB043a). They were the children of George and Alice Walker. Over the years the house had changed little, with an extension and new door built at the bottom of the yard in the same concrete blocks as village builders Kenches used to build the Village Hall in 1927.
