The boys seem to be playing comb & paper instruments. Where is this? The chimney on the left looks like that on the Royal Oak, so it might be Lime Avenue, but where is the barn with the tin roof on the right?

Early 20th century photos of Lime Avenue show grass verges beside the road like this shown on the left either side of the top of Blacksmiths Lane. From the shadows this midday and they are walking north, which would fit Lime Avenue.
