As always, a street party meant a commemorative mug for the children, this time paid for by the Parish Council and free to all those under 18.
Here, in June 2000, the mugs are being presented to Oliver (nearest camera) and Lawrence Bull, by Mrs Jean Oakey, the then oldest villager.
Helping her and being MC for the day is Matthew Tasker.
