Burnt Mill is in Eydon Parish, despite being nearest to West Farndon, and accessed from the Butterfly Lane bridleway.
By 2007 it was unoccupied and had not been used as a working mill since the late 1800s. The image is taken looking east from fields to the east of the Eydon to Farndon road into the valley. Burnt Mill is the next mill downstream from Farndon Mill. It was demolished in the early 21st century and a new house built in its place in 2013. Photographer Mr David Kench
