Aerial view of the top of Hill View from the north west, taken by SkyView Archives in the mid 1960s.

On the left on this side of the road can be seen one of the council houses, built in the 1920s. Next to that is the field where another 3 houses and a bungalow would be built in the early 1970s. Across the road, behind Cherry House (on the left) can be seen the L-shaped sheds and barns used by Pettifers to make their animal medicines. Compare this view with KL087a, taken ten years earlier. The high contrast and colour cast of these images are from the original pictures, taken from 50-year-old colour film. This photo is one of a series taken of the village by Skyview Archives, copies of which can be obtained from them at mail@skyviewsarchives.co.uk quoting for this image J940-1.
