This photo, taken a little further east than SV004, shows more details of the backs of the houses on the south side of Hill View.
What is striking is, despite the wintery scene, that all the gardens, with their vegetable patches, look so neat. A very clear view of Pettifer's sheds around the brick built, slate roofed,Cherry House (1 Hill View) at the top right of the picture. In the foreground is the new asbestos(?) roof of a barn at (Line's) Home Farm.
