Early 1930s image from Hope Walker's collection, so it's likely to be a family photograph,
Taken in the gateway of 32 High Street, the Walker's family home (see IB043) it shows two very young children embracing each other. From other photographs in this collection (see IB046 and IB047) it looks as if the little girl is Eric and Margaret Walker's daughter Hope. Hope was born in 1931, so this picture might be taken during 1933 or 1934.
Who the little boy is is is much more difficult as he is facing away from us. From the church records there where 12 little boys baptised in the 4 years before this picture might be taken, and that does not include the nonconformists! One possibility might be Joseph Tyrrell, who lived next door and appears with Hope as groom to her bride in some village celebration of a Royal Marriage seen in KL133 and KL134.
