Ken Edwards, only son of Lucy and Sid Edwards.

He looks very studious, in his pinstriped jacket, with his pens in his breast pocket. He to be about 16 or 17, so would be taken in the early 1940s.

Kenneth initially worked on the railways like his father but then was apprenticed to be a baker in the village, later moving to Daventry. He married Woodford girl Marjorie Clarke in 1944, and they had two daughters, Shirley and Christine. They moved to Worthing, where he became a Master Baker and Confectioner. He specialised in designing celebration cakes for weddings etc. He died in May 2008.
