Beyond Barnetts Hill, just on the parish boundary, (which in this case is the mill run in the foreground of this picture), we come to Farndon Mill, which is in fact in Woodford Halse parish.

The mill was owned by the railway company, as the railway works in Woodford took too much the water from the River Cherwell, hence the chimney needed to power the mill when there was not enough water.

Probably converted into a private house at this point, despite the chimney which has now gone.
